Medical Transportation Workers' Compensation Program Expands! |

Thomco has long been a leading market in the Private Medical Transportation industry, which includes Ambulances and Para-Transit vehicles. In addition to a broad package of coverages including General Liability, Professional Liability, Automobile Liability and Physical Damage, Property, Inland Marine, Excess and Umbrella, Worker's Compensation was recently added. Initially, the program was restricted in terms of eligibility and geography but recent underwriting adjustments have greatly expanded the number of eligible accounts. The changes include:
 Accounts with a high volume of emergency calls with more than five units and a premium of $15,000 or higher are now eligible.
Direct bill with minimum down payment of only 15%.
State recently added: Arizona. Eligible states now include: AR, AZ, CA, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, NE, NH, NM, OK, PA, RI, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, and WI.
Debit Mod Accounts now eligible if the current loss history is improving and the insured has implemented loss control initiatives to improve the loss history.
Minimum Premium for a risk with a low emergency call ratio is now only $5,000.
